BACKGROUND
A native Rochesterian, Ron graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance. He received a Juris Doctor Degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law where he was a member of the Law Review.
EXPERIENCE
Ron has practiced law for over 30 years, with an emphasis on counseling small and medium sized businesees, esate planning and administration, elder law and asset protection planning. He founded the Law Firm of Ronald J. Axelrod & Associates, PC. Ron is also co-founder of Direct BizMatch, LLC offering a unique website for matching serious business buyers with serious sellers.

Ron is a member of Wealth Counsel, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Financial Planners Association , the Estate Planning Council of Rochester, the Business and Real Estate and Trust and Estate Sections of the American, New York State and Monroe County Bar Associations.
AUTHOR / PRESENTER
Ron is a contributing editor of "GENERATIONS, Planning your Legacy," published by the Esperti Petersen Institute. He has regularly hosted a radio "call-in" talk show dealing with Elder Law matters, and is a columnist and on the advisory editorial board of Business Strategies Magazine.
Ron conducts frequent seminars on Estate Planning and Elder Law in many public forms, including programs sponsored by AARP and many of the top investment and financial firms in the Rochester area. Ron's workshops are always well accepted. He has made extremely technical subjects interesting and easy to understand.
COMMUNITY
An active member of the Rochester Rotary Club, Ron has served on the Board of Directors of many local charitable and philanthropic organizations.
